Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine admonishes that "attempts to use the Parliament as the Highest Representative Body of the People for receiving their aims valuable for activities in party would cost a lot for the Ukrainian people". It was declared on Wednesday during the briefing for the journalists.
Informing on the results Conciliation Council the Chairman stressed that the Leader of the Factions had not come any agreement concerning the organization of the work of the Parliament. "The confrontation that is observed today is a result of the confrontation between two biggest political powers in Ukraine", - he emphasized.
V. Lytvyn announced that he has directed to the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko a letter in which he suggested immediate informing of the Parliament concerning her position regarding the assertion of the Minister on Internal Affairs, Yuriy Lutsenko and in case of her agreement with his appeal on introduction of corresponding exhibition to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine according to the Law of Ukraine "On Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine", to which the appeal on dismissal of himself from the post of Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was added.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine explained that his suggested approaches to the solving of the problem were not upheld by the Faction Leaders. v. Lytvyn suggested that the Temporary Inquiry Panel should during several days investigate the material of the case, call out acting Minister on Foreign Affairs, Consul and Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany and also representative of the Ministry on Internal Affairs of Germany to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and attract Security Service of Ukraine and External Intelligence Service for the investigation of the case in order that the material for the scrutinizing is ready until the Friday. "My propositions were not accepted, I would say in a rough form, bluntly not accepted", - he declared.
According to the Chairman "People´s Deputies have the right to initiate the issue not concerning the resignation by regarding the dismissal as in case of the firs all the perks, opportunities are preserved". "Taking into account the fact that the Deputies are under the pressure I suggested that the resolution on this issue should be adopted in secrete regime", - V. Lytvyn emphasized. Still, according to him, the proposition was rejected.
"It is completely obvious that the present situation in Parliament is a ground for the realization of the common project of the pre-termed cessation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, - V. Lytvyn summed up. It is totally unbearable for the country. I would be against it because it would destroy the last opportunity for the determined development of all the processes in the country".
